General TV discussion
Just watched Wossie's last show and it was fantastic as always. The best guest for me was Jackie Chan, but then i've loved him since forever.

What a way to go out though with a guest list like that, Becks was very open and an excellent guest and all round nice guy, Mickey Rourke was funny too. I've also liked Roxy Music for many many years and they put on a great performance

See you whenever Wossy ITV\cough ;o)

RE: General TV discussion
Does anyone know if there are any good gaming documentary type thingies? Like when Charlie Brooker did that Game Swipe. I love that kinda stuff. I found one last night called Thumb Candy, which was alright. If anyone knows of any more, please tell me!!!!!!

RE: General TV discussion
Krazyface I know of a couple that might interest you. One is called Micromen, it's a documentary from the BBC about Sir Clive Sinclair and his rise and fall. The other I speak of is called King of Kong a fistfull of quarters, It's another documentary about two guys fighting it out for the highscore on Donkey Kong and going into the record books, it's a lot more interesting than it sounds. Just scour the internet for them both.

RE: General TV discussion
I have MicroMen on my PS3 somewhere, but I've not heard of this King of Kong thing. I'll go-a-hunting for that later tonight. Cheers Rusty!

HEELLLOOOOOO! RUUUUUSTEEEYY!!! Are you there?

I just watched King of Kong last night and I gotta say, THANK YOU for telling me about this! I always knew someone had passed the million mark on DK but never realised what a struggle it was. Steve Weibee, what a guy! BIG kudous to him for sticking it out, and that Billy Mitchel is... umm, actually, incase someone wants to see it I'll not ruin it any further.

Thanks again Rusty!

RE: General TV discussion
Did he do it live this time, or was it another one of his fuzzy videos? He stopped short so that the next guy that comes along to beat his score by a whisker he can do the same again. I suppose when you build your life and reputation on a game score, you have to constantly defend yourself. I still think Steve Weibe's THE man.

No matter how good you think you are, there's always someone better though.

RE: General TV discussion
Went over to Eurogamer today to see what I could see. Has anyone here seen The Eurogamer Election documentary-thingies they've done? If not, they're well worth a peek! First part deals with the U.K's slipping grasp on it's games industry due to general ignorance, and the second part is about attitudes towards the rateing systems that are in place, and how they got there (sort of).

I think there's going to be a third part, but I'm sure we all know how fast Eurogamer are at updating these longer TV items!!!

RE: General TV discussion
I might be a bit slow off the mark here, but I came across a nice little historic rundown of Rockstar the other day on you tube, called All Your History Are Belong To Us.

Check it out if you like these look-back things, it's a six parter!
