RE: Machete Trailer Premiere
Looks interesting. I just like how Danny Trejo always plays the role of an angry mexican person in absolutely everything that he is in. If you look up typecasting in the dictionary, there is probably a picture of him right next to the definition (we all buy illustrated dictionaries, right?)

RE: Machete Trailer Premiere
I spotted The Book of Eli on Morrison's shelf the other day, I've been waiting for this film ever since Irishchamp (PS3 ID) sent me a link for it half a year ago. Still couldn't buy it though (16.99) as my "Unemployed Skivvy" money isn't enough to lavish films upon myself. I usually make a list of films I wanna see that I won't pay full price for, as DVD prices fall within months of release. Here's my list:
Star Treck The Book of Eli The Road Surrogates Harry Brown Wolverine Origins Ghost Town The Fourth Kind Capote The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Dante's Inferno (anime) *ORIGINAL 1932* Scarface The Haunted World of El Superbeasto (animation) 20 Million Miles to Earth Forbidden Planet The Man From Earth Cargo None of these are that expencive, it's just I ALWAYS kick myself for paying way too much for a DVD when I find it cheaper later. If anyone's seen any of these films, let me know which I should be hunting for first (or not at all) |

RE: Machete Trailer Premiere
Well, I've seen Wolverine. I've got it on blu ray and everything! It's good, but not fantastic.
Get Carlito's Way. Cheap as chips guv, and one of my favourite films ever. I LOVE that movie, even though I've seen very few gangster films - or films with Al Pacino in, for that matter.
I'm not a little absent minded; my little mind is absent.

I'm a big gangster film fan and already have Carlito's Way, if you really like that I think you'd seriously enjoy Donnie Brasco. That should be cheap as chips too, I just get a hard time from my girlfriend when I turn up at the till with "another DVD"!!! I'm a big Si-Fi fan too though and I'd like to mention The Butterfly Effect. I only just watched this about half a year ago and I gotta say, one of my favorite films EVER! If you've not seen it already you should DEFINITLY check this out. |

RE: Machete Trailer Premiere
I own District 9 (good film) and I have Moon on Bluray, which I think is one of the better si-fi films I've seen this year. It's ashame nobody has the patience to sit through it with you. Children of Men looks especily good, thanks for bringing that to my attention, I'll be looking out for it.
