Metroid: Other M

It was the game's release day in the States, so I went and got myself a copy. About a couple of hours in at the moment. The first bit felt pretty rough thanks to the new control scheme. After a bit though, it really started to feel like a legit Metroid game. I don't think it has the awesome level detail like the Prime games from what I've seen so far, but the enemy detail and challenge is making up for it.

Anybody else planning to pick it up?

I won't be getting it, but from what I've seen Samus delivers her terribly scripted lines like a person shaken awake at 4am having gone to bed at 3 or one who was recently freed from the Borg.
