Who else is finding it hard not to impulse buy at the Steam sale?
So, Steam's Perils of Summer sale is in full swing. Has anyone picked up any bargains that they want to share with the rest of us? There are so many titles in this thing that it's quite hard to find them all.

Just looking at todays deals, it looks like you can get Red Faction Guerilla for £3.50. I haven't played it myself (I think that's about to change), but it's meant to be decent (Metacritic gives it 82). And for the price of an (admittedly expensive) pint, you can't really lose. This seems like a great time to get into PC gaming if you ask me.

So, are there any discounted gems that may have been overlooked by a lot of us that anyone can recommend?

To answer the topic; I don't find it hard to avoid impulse purchases on Steam. My avatar is the face I make when I need to use it.

With that said it's still worth looking for something you maybe passed on in the past that you can now get for next to nothing...but yeah - avoid browsing for nothing in particular or you'll walk away with stuff you never knew you wanted, just like any other retail sale.
